太阳能电池生产工艺对自动化操控的需求不断推动着传统的解决方案发展。最先在东亚投产的某自动化系统可实现每小时3000片的产能。与此同时，操作超薄硅片时必须特别谨慎，因为机器人的运动顺序中每个看似无关紧要的停顿都可能导致其破损。这样不仅会推高系统操作者的成本，也会给那些通常保证破损率低于0.1%的系统制造商造成不良影响。

解决方案

高速SCARA替代Delta机器人

德国系统集成商Baumann致力于研发光伏行业的创新自动化解决方案，其半导体清洗装置上下料的标准化模块备受客户青睐，凭借系统的优异性能，为周期时间、破损率和可靠性等关键因素设立了新行业标准。而其核心正是史陶比尔四轴Scara TS60机器人。

Baumann设计的单元是专为处理两种不同尺寸的单晶和多晶硅片而设计的。硅片尺寸为125x 125毫米及156 x 156毫米。得益于精密的硬件和软件解决方案，从一种尺寸硅片向另一种尺寸硅片转换最多只需10分钟。

硅片通过一个单向传送带送达装配模块。机器人在此拾取超薄硅片并把它们置于半导体清洗装置五条导轨的精确位置上。为了达到客户的需求，系统最大硅片产量高达每小时3000片。对此，Baumann的自动化专家并未选择Delta机器人，而是创新地选择了两台史陶比尔高速度TS60 Scara 机器人配套使用。

同时因涉及到高扭矩应用，Delta机器人需要将整个系统模块不成比例的扩大，这样会违背集成商紧凑柔性的基本设计。史陶比尔TS60占地面积小，安装方式灵活。

成果

完美的同步性

在Baumann，令他们特别自豪的是两台机器人和传送带速度的完美同步性。由于两台Scara机器人轮流定点到传送带上的同一点拾取硅片，以这样的方式编程可以避免发生碰撞，因此没有必要进行额外的碰撞保护。与此同时，这两台机器人必须要与传送带的速度保持绝对同步。 对这些任务进行编程需要大量的专业技术知识。他们发现由史陶比尔CS8C控制器和输送跟踪系统提供的丰富可选项都很有帮助。
